Lee Zeldin was born and raised on Long Island. He grew up in Suffolk County and graduated from William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, where his identical twin daughters attend school today. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and then his law degree from Albany Law School, becoming New York’s youngest attorney at the time at the age of 23.

Having experienced the courtroom from both sides of the bench for nearly 25 years, I know first-hand that respected jurists are thoroughly prepared, mindful of the law as it exists, courteous to all who appear before them, aware of the demands on attorneys and the anxiety felt by clients, establish and abide by reasonable expectations for conduct in the courtroom, and make all attempts to be timely with their decisions. Judge Rose has the unique experience of being a City Court Judge in the Unified Court System, a municipal attorney for several communities and a private practicing attorney. Judge Rose has practiced law for over 30 years and has served as City Court Judge for the past 14 years. As an attorney he has argued cases at all levels up to the Court of Appeals.
